We did it! Team Nation Partners has raised $6,255 for disadvantaged young people across Australia as part of #febfast, with every single team member smashing their goal We’re so proud to have raised enough money to support over 20 nights of safe emergency accomodation, 55 family therapy sessions, over 90 drug and alcohol sessions and more than 173 hours of youth worker support sessions. Congrats to our latest B the Change winner – Mahima Kalla!

Every month at Nation Partners, a member of the team is awarded for their efforts going above and beyond.

As part of this award, Mahima will donate to Dr Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots program on behalf of the business. Roots and Shoots is a youth-led initiative of the @janegoodallau Institute that aims to inspire and empower youth to make a positive difference – a cause very close to Mahima’s heart.

Through Roots and Shoots, young people select a cause of their choice in the areas of animal welfare, environmental protection and social issues and create their own projects for their local schools or communities. Their global network is currently making a difference in over 100 countries.

As a university student, Mahima started and ran a Roots and Shoots group at Monash University, raising funds for HIV positive orphans, campaigning for fair trade product use within the university and organising various tree planting drives among other initiatives.

With over 20 years’ experience, Rob has been leading sustainable development, carbon and climate change and environmental management and assessment projects across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and the UK.

Rob was on the inaugural Board of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) and is an Infrastructure Sustainability ‘IS’ Assessor and Verifier. Rob is also Deputy Chair of the Steering Committee for the Commonwealth funded Clean Air and Urban Landscapes Research Hub and on the Green Building Council of Australia’s Climate Resilience Expert Reference Panel.
