Strategic Risk Management Plan

The NSW Department of Industry – Lands engaged Nation Partners to deliver a strategic risk management initiative for the $250M Tweed River Entrance Sand Bypass Project (TRESBP).
Our team analysed existing reports and risk information, and facilitated risk assessment workshops with representatives from the NSW and QLD Governments, Tweed Shire Council and Gold Coast City Council.
We produced detailed risk registers and a strategic Risk Management Plan to guide delivery and governance of the project into the future.
Our team also performed an annual project health check, an additional risk workshop and updates to the Risk Management Plan.
Client challenge + benefit delivered

The technical complexity of the project, combined with its long term operations, had led to an inconsistent and unstructured approach to risk management.
Nation Partners facilitated workshops that allowed stakeholders to focus on strategic risks in a manner consistent with international standards, in order to formulate a clear action plan for risk mitigation and project improvement.
