Community and stakeholder engagement

Nation Partners delivered a community engagement program to support planning and construction activities at the interface of the M2 Motorway and the $3billion Northconnex project in Sydney.
Our team supported Transurban in negotiating the resumption of corridor land that had been actively used by local residents over an extended period. Nation Partners reviewed and refined the communication strategy, prepared targeted letters, and met with approximately 40 property owners to communicate the changes to property boundaries and the erection/modification of fences.
Nation Partners negotiated fencing details with each site owner to achieve outcomes that met project requirements and satisfied community needs. Our team added value by capturing site-specific constraints including topography, the presence of significant vegetation, the location of utility services and the existence of safety hazards, to enable detailed planning for the boundary works.
